DELLIN ZHANG is a Chinese-American writer and filmmaker whose work examines the quiet forces that shape us—our choices, our fractures, and what endures. She is drawn to stories that thread between differences, where empathy arises from understanding rather than plain sight. Her narratives often emerge from the nuanced dynamics of family, friendship, and the self.
She graduated magna cum laude from Emerson College with a concentration in screenwriting. Alongside her filmmaking practice, Dellin works as a freelance video editor. At other times, she approaches the world as a poet, carving interior landscapes within verse.
Variations of her print work are tucked in indie magazines, including Lunchbox, P.T.O., and Our Little Tidepool.
Dellin finds joy in peaceful pleasures: lounging below leafy shade, the texture of snacks, and a transportive soundtrack.
