DELLIN ZHANG 张德琳 is a Chinese American writer and filmmaker whose work examines the forces that shape us—our choices, our fractures, and what endures. Her narratives take root in diasporic experience and unfold through observation of the interpersonal and the inner life. She is drawn to stories that inhabit the in-between, bridging distances in understanding.

She graduated magna cum laude from Emerson College with a concentration in screenwriting. Alongside her filmmaking practice, Dellin works as a freelance video editor. She often turns to poetry, tuning into the world’s fleeting verse and tracing interior landscapes within words.

Variations of her print work appear in indie magazines including Lunchbox, P.T.O., and Our Little Tidepool.

Her simple pleasures: the texture of snacks and a transportive soundtrack.
