DELLIN ZHANG is a Chinese-American writer and filmmaker dedicated to unravel colored identities and foster empathy through storytelling. Her narratives are often inspired by the ephemeral in-betweens of human experiences and the relational dynamics shaped by complex identities.
Dellin graduated from Emerson College magna cum laude with a focus in screenwriting/directing. Outside of filmmaking, she offers freelance work as a video editor (actualizing vision) & photographer (discovering still intimacy). And by ardent choice, she assumes the lens of a poet, carving a mind’s landscape in verse.
Variations of her print work can be found tucked within indie magazines, including Lunchbox, P.T.O., and Our Little Tidepool.
Dellin enjoys the simple things: lounging amongst nature and/or good company, the texture of snacks, and a transportive soundtrack.
