DELLIN ZHANG is a Chinese-American writer + filmmaker dedicated to exploring the circumstances and decisions that break and forge us. She believes in the impact of stories—they transcend differences and elevate empathy. Her narratives are largely inspired by the nuanced dynamics between families, friends, and within the self.
Dellin graduated from Emerson College magna cum laude with a focus in screenwriting. Outside of filmmaking, she offers freelance work as a video editor. And most times, she assumes the lens of a poet, carving a mind’s landscape through verse.
Variations of her print work can be found tucked within indie magazines including Lunchbox, P.T.O., and Our Little Tidepool.
Dellin finds joy in simple things: lounging below leafy shade, the colorful textures of snacks, and a transportive soundtrack.
