DELLIN ZHANG is a Chinese-American writer and filmmaker dedicated to explore colored identities and foster empathy through storytelling. Her narratives are often inspired by the in-betweens of human experiences and relational dynamics shaped by complex identities.
Dellin graduated from Emerson College magna cum laude with a focus in screenwriting/directing. Outside of filmmaking, she offers freelance work as a video editor (actualizing vision) & photographer (discovering still intimacy). Oftentimes, she assumes the lens of a poet, carving a mind’s landscape in verse.
Variations of her print work can be found tucked within indie magazines, including Lunchbox, P.T.O., and Our Little Tidepool.
Dellin enjoys the simple things: lounging below leafy shade, the texture of snacks, and a transportive soundtrack.
